What is the process of homeopathic treatment

An initial homeopathic consultation will take about 90 minutes. This is the time you can tell me your problems and concerns. I will ask questions related to your concerns and to your life. Homeopathy treats the whole person, not only your aches and pains, and it is necessary for me to understand what is causing these aches and pains.

At the end of the first session I will recommend a homeopathic medicine for you to take. I will also point you to options of where to buy this remedy. After you have taken the remedy, I ask an update a week following. Afterwards we assess the progress and continue on with the treatment. Patients describe a homeopathic treatment as a journey into your own self. A journey to health.

It is important to note that I will oversee and accompany closely patients through the process. You will always know what to expect and what to do.

How to take homeopathic medicines

Homeopathic medicines should be placed under the tongue of adults and children or in the cheek of an infant where they will dissolve. It is preferable that there be nothing in the mouth to eat or drink 15 minutes before or after taking homeopathic medicines.

Here is some more details:

Look under your tongue. It is an environment full of capillaries (blood vessels) surrounded by very soft tissue. If you want something to be absorbed directly into the human body, what better place to do it than somewhere that is rich in blood vessels that carry blood throughout your system rapidly!

Homeopathic products are very clean-meaning they have no binders, fillers or coatings. The soft molded lactose tablets are made to dissolve almost instantly when placed in the mouth. Because the remedies dissolve in the mouth, they are absorbed by the mucous membranes in the mouth and carried directly into your system. For this reason, the remedies work faster than conventional medicines because conventional medicines are usually coated and don't get absorbed into the system until the coating is dissolved by the stomach acid, and that generally takes about twenty minutes.

Homeopathic medicated pellets take longer to dissolve, but they don't taste bad so it is worth the wait. Dilutions are liquid and should be dropped directly under the tongue.

Because the remedies are very clean and fragile, avoid handling them. It is preferable to drop the tablets or pellets into the cap of the bottle, and pour them from the cap into your mouth. If more than four pour into the cap, take four-don't put the pills back into the bottle.

You cannot overdose on homeopathic medicines. If you take fifteen tablets or five tablets (or 100 tablets for that matter) AT ONE TIME it is one dose. You will stimulate your curative response one time. So, it is not a tragedy if more than six tablets fall into the cap, just take them rather than risk putting a contaminated pill back into the bottle to contaminate the others in the bottle.

Finally, some homeopathic medicines may be antidoted by things like mint, caffeine or other remedies. In order to help prevent antidotes, take your remedies one at a time, with a "clean mouth". It is best not to eat or drink at least 15 minutes before or after taking the remedies.

How long will treatment take ?

It depends a lot on what we are treating. If you come in for a cold or a cough or injury, I will expect a relatively quick healing in a week or so. If you come in for a chronic long-standing condition, I will sometimes ask for a treatment plan of 6 months.

Homeopathy works on many levels. Change and healing can be immediate for acute situations or may require longer periods of time for chronic conditions. It is important to follow instructions of How to take homeopathic medicine and pay attention and report any change observed in your health or routine. Communication with the homeopath while on a homeopathic remedy is key to a successful treatment and is essential part of the process. Homeopathy can treat many health conditions that do not require surgery.

How much will it cost

How Homeopathy works?

Good question! A question many of us ask. And there’s a few answers to this question but somehow none of the answers satisfies us. That’s because we are limited in the tools we have – the tools we use to talk, think and communicate. Homeopathy is another form of communication that our immune force can recognize and react upon. This is the best answer I can give now. BUT – once you take a homeopathic medicine you would understand how it works.
